MARK J. STERLING, M.D.
Dr. Sterling established Suffolk Spine and Rehabilitation Medicine in April 2014, committed to providing the highest quality care in treating spinal disorders and musculoskeletal complaints.  He is a board-certified Interventional Spine specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. 
 
A native Long Islander, he went to Walt Whitman High School in South Huntington and received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. 
 
He graduated from New York Medical College in 1991 and started his Internal Medicine training at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan.  He transferred to NYU and completed his training as a Physiatrist at the Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine in Manhattan.
 
Dr. Sterling is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
 
He is proud to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Catherine of Siena Hospital and Medical Center in Smithtown, NY.
 
He is fluent in Spanish and Polish.
